Used a Laptop in Europe on a trip, had an adapter and when plugged in a spark occured.? - adapter for laptop europe

Just got off the phone with a friend who traveled to Europe. He had the power adapter and when you connect the laptop, which had a spark.

Well, if you try to restart your computer experiences a blue screen very briefly, and then restart the computer. I do not know how far into the boot process, because his team are illiterate.

What are the possible causes of the problem?
How would I go myself to fix these problems?

Oh, this is unlikely to be good. Although the adapters are available and adjustment in certain regions in Europe, more than you should do more to use the adapter. The spark occurred because there probably is no reason on this issue. I do not want to avoid the country and the third component of our outlets, but a country too many volts in a team. Unfortunately, we have a lower voltage than in Europe, so if you try to plug something here just does not work, or sound like he's dying. If we introduce into something more, there is an overload. In a normal adapter, it is still the amount of European blood in the computer and that is what is causing the spark. The reason that you can use something like a hair dryer in different countries, because they raise a key to the number of resistances that prevent current overload to have passports. The laptops have that also, but not likely to change especially your friends. At least most laptops I've seen have a switch, the same as the hair dryer can change.

With respect to the fixationtion, I would take to repair a computer, because the tools to find the problem that the court in the circuit and you may be able to fix it. You will be able to say what to do when. Hope this helps.
