Frankly, my dear, you do not want to know what happens if you kill someone, by accident. I experienced it once, but not in the Philippines.
I will describe my experiences. It was about 11, September 14, 1996, and led 100kmp 120kmph on the highway. This kind of came out of nowhere, apparently trying to cross the street. I broke with all the powers he has an instinct had me pull the handbrake. Too late ... I had already beaten the poor, whose body was thrown 20 to 30 meters from the impact.
I left the car and found lifeless, even when the driver stopped to help others. Police and an ambulance came within 5 minutes of impact and a medic gave me the sad news ... that man was dead.
The police made a "technical error", which means that I should go with them to the police station. I was given a breathalyzer test to see if he was drunk, he was not. You had me at the police station, fortunately, not in prison for a few hours later, before an audience pROSECUTOR. Paid the equivalent of $ 500 bail.
The police called me often during their investigations and there are several visits to the civil courts was. Finally, the sentence was to pay compensation to the victims ... which was made by the insurance on my car. I also had to pay to the equivalent of $ 10,000 as an immediate relief for the family of the victim, which fortunately never met.
The money and effort out .... kill someone accidentally leaves a terrible scar on his head. I need advice from a psychiatrist for almost a year, has nightmares and could not drive for about six months since that day. I sold to the car. Frequently asked questions by the police, the idea that I killed the breadwinner .... were living too much.
I have never seen a drunk driver, but from this experience, I am cautious.
Allen is probably right.
I would like to add that probably pay a lot of money. I think it is about the insurance they have forgotten a loophole which states that only officials of the "x" dollars.
I had insurance when my driver to hit someone and hurt them. My insurance paid for only P10K and P60K had to pay over.

Worst punishment is life imprisonment ... Mexico ... No death penalty!
